TYPE F: Featured on Escape to the Country, The Type F is our Smallest Caber House, designed for compact living. This house type is arranged with the amenities to the north-side of the house as per the recommended PassivHaus layout for maximum efficiency.
The Type F features an open plan living element with large triple glazed windows on the south face and a long veranda to provide solar shading without compromising on views. Here at Caber House we maximise on views while prioritising the sustainable elements and PassivHaus Low Energy Standard.
This house type is ideal for accessible living, and all our house types can be modified to meet your needs.

All the house types are Architect designed by a Certified Passivhaus Designer. The simplicity and functionality of the layouts is easy to see, however, behind the scenes, the construction details of the houses have been rigorously reviewed and tested to eliminate cold bridging and optimise the performance. Externally robust detailing is used to minimise cyclical maintenance. This all helps to ensure low running costs.
